Having faith in a world filled with war and rumors of war is very important. It is important because we only get one opportunity to live this life we are living.
Putting your best foot forward is a metaphor for doing your best. We have all heard this saying a time or two in life.
Works without faith is like a camel without a hump. Once we decide we want to achieve success, we must ride the camels back like we have never rode it before.
After a two year break in military service I was recalled to active duty to work in the Pentagon. Prior to returning I had to complete a physical exam to ensure of what of sound body as well as of sound mind.
I stand on the scales and it registered, “To be continued.” I had gained over 30 pounds within two short years.
What do you think I needed to do? Wrong answer. I did not need to lose weight, I needed to add faith to my diet.
Faith? That is right, I did not have a weight problem but rather I had a faith problem. I want you to know I increased my appetite for faith and in three short weeks, I lost 33 pounds in three weeks and I attribute it to being faithful to my eating habits.
I worked for Mobil Oil Company in Texas and attended one too many company affairs. Instead of monitoring my weight I should have been monitoring my faith.
Faith is undoubtedly the substance of things yet to come and I exercised my rights by taking the weight off. What happened next?
I am glad you asked. After gaining faith and losing 33 pounds. the United States Air Force assigned me to the Pentagon. I served my country in the Pentagon for 12 consecutive years and retired four years ago.
You can do all things if you have faith. Get yourself some faith and you will leave the world changed and unlike you came.
